About us

Antiques with Soul - the place which we want to invite you. More than 20 years ago, we had the opportunity to learn the technique of antique restoration. From that moment we knew that this would be our passion, which over time became a profession.

The craftsmanship of ancient craftsmanship has awakened in us an admiration for the beauty of the objects in our space.

For many years we explored the techniques of furniture restoration learning wood carving, veneering, and applying polish. In the dust of old wood, scraped off old coatings, we discovered that the closets things we had to furniture was paint, with a heavily distressed, weathered effect.

Furrniture covered with patina by trial and error methods, we learning how to paint so that the furniture looks as if it was painted more than 100 years ago. We took our inspiration from the scandinavian tradicional Gustavian style, which truly fascinated us. We see nobility, simplicity and lightness in painted furniture.
